Message limits

In the Workspace, agents can send and receive messages with a length of up to 3999 characters inclusive. However, depending on the communication channel, different chats have their own restrictions on the maximum message length.

The table below describes the message length limits depending on a specific channel.

Attachment limits

Besides message length, chats have limits on attachment size and file format. These limits depend on the channel and are different from the upload limits of the Kit internal file storage.

The table below lists the allowed file formats by attachment type, depending on the channel.

For channels not listed in the table above (Telegram, Custom channel, Facebook messenger), allowed attachment formats are not separately regulated, except for the forbidden formats listed below.
