Configuring an API whitelist

You can restrict user access to Voximplant Kit and its API using API whitelisting.

This feature lets you create a list of trusted IP addresses that can access Voximplant Kit and make API requests. Once you add IP addresses to the whitelist, users can log in to Voximplant Kit and make API requests from these addresses only. The system automatically disables logins from IPs that are out of the whitelist. API requests from suspect non-whitelisted IPs are not allowed.

Important

If a user needs to access the Voximplant Kit interface and its API from two different IP addresses, make sure both are on the whitelist. Otherwise, the user can only access the Voximplant Kit interface or its API.

  1. Log in to your Voximplant Kit account.
  2. Go to Administration > Security > API whitelist.
  3. Click Add address.
  4. In the window that opens, enter the required IP address and add a description if needed.

Along with single IP addresses, you can also add subnets as "address/mask", for example 8.8.8.8/28 or 0.0.0.0/0.

  1. Click Save.
  2. To edit or delete an IP address, click the More options icon next to the required address and select the option you need.
