How to integrate a WhatsApp channel with Botmaker

Integrate WhatsApp messaging for your business with Botmaker, an official WhatsApp Solution Provider.

You will be able to chat with Voximplant Kit customers, manage multiple agents with the same phone number, and connect bots with artificial intelligence.


Before you integrate a Whatsapp channel with Botmaker, create a Botmaker account and configure a WhatsApp account for the required phone number.

  1. Log in to your Botmaker account.
  2. On the left sidebar, click Channels.
  3. Click Botmaker API to generate the access token required for sending messages to your customers via Kit.
  4. Copy the API Access Token, Secret ID, and Refresh Token. You will need to give this data to Kit support for internal configuration.

  1. Log in to your Voximplant Kit account.
  2. Go to Settings > Channels and click WhatsApp.
  3. In the request form, enter the phone number, your username, and general information about your company.
  4. Click Send request.

Once the Kit support team receives your request, they will contact you shortly thereafter and ask for details required for the internal configuration of your WhatsApp channel: your Secret ID, Access Token, and Refresh Token you obtained in step 4, as well as your Client ID (the name to be displayed in the chatbot) and Sender number.

With this data, the Kit team creates your WhatsApp channel, and you receive the channel URL.

  1. Go back to your Botmaker account and complete the configuration by adding the webhook.
  2. On the left sidebar, click Channels.
  3. On the WhatsApp tile, click Configure.

  1. In the Income Message Notification URL field, paste the URL of your Kit WhatsApp channel.

You can now use the WhatsApp channel for communication with customers via Voximplant Kit.
