In this article, you will learn how to upload audio recordings to Voximplant Kit and configure different integration tools.

Audio recordings

In the Audio records section, you can upload audio recordings to use in your scenario.

  1. Log in to your Voximplant Kit account.

  2. Click Upload.

Your audio file cannot exceed 10 MB and must be in MP3 format.

  1. In the dialog window, select the audio file you want to add and click Open.

  2. The system adds the audio recording.

  3. You can find the audio recording you need by using the Find an audiorecord field.

  4. Create a folder to store different groups of audio recordings if needed.

  5. By clicking the three dots menu, you can rename, move or delete the audio recording.

  • Click Rename, change the name of the audio recording, and press Enter.
  • Click Move, in the Move audio record window, select the folder, and click Move to.
  • Click Delete and confirm the file deletion.

Integrations

In the Integration section, you can configure different integrations that are necessary for Voximplant Kit. Before you start, log in to your Voximplant Kit account.

In the Email menu, you can configure the email address that the system uses in the Sending email block. To edit the email address, go to Email and click the pencil icon in the right upper corner. Edit the email settings as required and click Save.

You can use only one email address.

Note

You might need to allow less secure applications access to your mailing service to attach an email address.

Email

In the SIP Whitelist menu, you can configure SIP addresses from which the system allows a SIP call to an inbound scenario.

  1. Click Add address.

  2. In the Add address window, enter the value.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Click the three dots menu to edit or delete the sip address.

In the Dialogflow menu, you can add a Dialogflow agent that you already configured.The Dialogflow agent is a natural language understanding module that understands the nuances of human language.

  1. Click Add agent.

  2. Select the service account JSON file of your agent you have previously created and downloaded from Google Cloud.

  3. Click Open.

  4. Click the three dots menu to edit or delete the Dialogflow agent.

In the Global variables section, you can configure different global variables used in your scenario. Global variables are variables with values that can be called in any script, whether outbound or inbound and always have the value you defined in them.

For example, you need to define an authorization key from an external API that you constantly use in your scenarios. But the thing is that the authorization key is not a permanent thing, and you suppose to update it once a month. And you have 25 different scenarios on your account that can use this key. A global variable is a great tool to ease your work. You only need to change the key's value, and not edit the other 25 scenarios.

  1. Click Add variable.

  2. In the Add variable window, enter the name of the variable and its value.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Click the three dots menu to edit or delete the global variable.

In the API Tokens section, you can create a permanent token to allow accessing Voximplant Kit API.

  1. Click Add API Token.

  2. In the Add API Token window, enter the name of the token you want to add.

  3. Click Show token or Copy token next to the token to review or copy the token.

  4. Click Revoke to disable the token.
