Specify Caller ID for outbound call campaigns

To launch your outbound call campaign, you need to specify Caller ID first. Caller ID is a phone number that is displayed when a callee receives an inbound call from the system. There are two options to specify Caller ID in Voximplant Kit:

  1. Log in to your Voximplant Kit account.

  2. Buy a phone number in the Numbers section. More information about how to configure the call forwarding here.

Note

This option is available for users assigned to admin roles.

  1. In the Custom Caller IDs tab, verify the phone number that the system uses as Caller ID .

  2. After you buy or verify the phone number, you can specify it as Caller ID while configuring the campaign.

Caller ID settings

After you launch the campaign, the system shows the specified Caller ID to every callee.

We recommend you to set up the call forwarding from this number to another number where you can receive calls from callees if they decide to call you back. More information about how to configure the call forwarding here.

Note

Call forwarding is a chargeable service, but it is important to allow your callees to contact you, and in many countries is required by law.
